Hello SES Families!  Just a reminder that Meet Your Teacher is Monday, August 30.

 

As a reminder, the schedule is below:

Kindergarten Meet Your Teacher will occur, as follows:

• Students with last names starting with A-L from 10:00-10:15
• Students with last names starting with M-Z from 10:15-10:30
• Kindergarten parents/guardians will join their child for these brief visits in the classroom
• All kindergarten families will meet their teacher at the classroom door, in the back of the school.  
• Kindergarten Bus Orientation from 10:30-11:00 in the front of the school.

Meet Your Teacher Grades 1-2 from 11:00-11:30 and Meet Your Teacher Grades 3-5 from 11:30-12:00

• Only students will enter the building for the Meet Your Teacher visits in grades 1-5.  SES staff ambassadors will meet grade levels at the designated doors, below, and walk students to their classrooms where they will meet their teacher, see the classroom, and meet other students in their class.  We ask all families to please wait outside the building while the children visit their classroom.  At the conclusion of the visit, the classroom teacher will walk their class back out to reunite students with their families (approximately 20 minutes).  Students will exit out the door they entered to meet their family.
  • Grade 1 students will enter through door 2, by the auditorium, at 11:00
  • Grade 2 students will enter through the main door (door 1) at 11:00
  • Grade 3 students will enter through door 22, in the back of the school, at 11:30
  • Grade 4 students will enter through door 20, in the back of the school, at 11:30
  • Grade 5 students will enter through door 19, in the back of the school, at 11:30
• Note: classroom visits will be about 20 minutes, so please plan accordingly.  Once again, teachers will walk students down to meet parents/guardians and dismiss students to parent/guardians at the door they entered.  This transitional time enables primary families to move to intermediate student visits.

As a reminder, the New Family Orientation scheduled from 10:00-11:00 was canceled.
